DanielParticipantHi!
Given your scenario, I have the perfect solution: Bookings for WooCommerce. How will this plugin help you? As a hotelier, you should start requiring a credit card guarantee, so the room is charged if the guest doesn’t arrive. Or you can also provide special last-minute appointment discounts.

For example, offer a $20 discount for 1-5 days, and a 30% discount for 5-10 days. This strategy will definitely motivate customers to extend their stay and increase your revenue over time.
Some of the other functionality that comes along with Bookings for WooCommerce, to handle frequent appointments with no-shows –
- Send emails/SMS reminders
- Take payments upfront
- Integration with Google Calendar
- Auto-reject unpaid bookings after a specified time
- A centralised view for bookings to easily cancel the bookings
March 31, 2026 at 1:12 pm in reply to: Is There A Way To Differentiate Between Upsell & Order Bump Offers? #4834
DanielParticipantYes, if you are using Upsell Funnel Builder for WooCommerce to run these campaigns.
Merchants run different offers daily. Offers like upselling, cross-selling, offers for the festive season, Halloween specials, and the list goes on. Having a label functionality dedicated to differentiating these offers helps the merchants.

DanielParticipantHi Emma,
If you incorporate Bookings for WooCommerce into your store, you get access to the Centralized View for Bookings.
How does that work?

Your customers can view their bookings in a centralized manner. They can see the name of the booking product (which is clickable), the payment method they used, the option to add the booking to their Google Calendar, the booking status, and the cancellation option (if the merchant has enabled this functionality). Furthermore, customers can also select whether they prefer to view their bookings in list or grid format.

DanielParticipantHi!
You’ll be happy to hear that there are two new ways to encourage customers to make repeated purchases from your WooCommerce store with WooCommerce Points and Rewards.
1. WooCommerce Rewards and Points On Birthday
Yes, I know this was an existing feature, but there is an enhancement. Merchants can enhance the shopping experience for customers by offering additional rewards when a customer purchases on their birthday.2. Top Rank Bonus Rewards

WooCommerce store owners can now reward the customers with the highest rank. Merchants can assign extra points to reward the top-ranked customer (every week or every month). They can set the frequency as per their preference.
November 11, 2025 at 5:28 am in reply to: Which features of Points and Rewards will help in BFCM Sales? #4494
DanielParticipantHi! Points and Rewards for WooCommerce is among the best holiday plugins.

The holiday plugins help you create engaging loyalty programs that reward customers for multiple actions, incentivize repeat purchases, and drive festive sales.
Some of the features are –
1. Rewards for Actions: Customers earn points not only for purchases but also for actions like signing up, writing product reviews, sharing products on social media, and referring friends. Points are accumulated in their account and can later be redeemed for discounts, rewards, or coupons. For example, run campaigns like earn double points for every holiday purchase in December.
2. Points for Every Purchase: Reward your customers for every dollar they spend! With the Points for Every Purchase feature, customers earn points proportional to the amount they pay in your store. For example, 1 point for every $1 spent. This makes every purchase more rewarding, encourages repeat shopping, and helps boost customer loyalty.
3. Gamified Loyalty Campaign: The WooCommerce points and rewards plugin enables store owners to run engaging, gamified campaigns, such as gamification spin-the-wheel, referral, quiz, birthday rewards, and comment-based points, all within customizable pop-ups. Options include showcasing earned points, referral counts, setting dynamic images for the pop-up, or simply choosing from 5+ predefined templates for upcoming festivals, and selecting specific display pages to make it fun, engagement-targeted, and reward-driven.
4. Referral Program: This festive season, make your loyal customers your in-house brand ambassadors by offering WooCommerce points and rewards to referrers for every unique referral. The admin just needs to enable the referral Woo points option and then enter the number of Woo points and the minimum referrals required.
I hope this information helps you boost your sales & profits this BFCM!

DanielParticipantHi!
You can utilize Upsell funnel builder’s compatibility with the WooCommerce Cart Abandonment Recovery plugin to create bump offers targeting the customers who have abandoned their carts. These bump offers will showcase offers related to the products that your customers have abandoned. This increases the chances of converting the user into a customer.

DanielParticipantHi Emma, to answer your question.
Yes, the points and rewards plugin allows admins to add this functionality. Utilizing this feature, merchants can allow users to purchase items with just WooCommerce reward points. They can also assign points to different available product categories.

July 8, 2025 at 12:02 pm in reply to: If My Event Falls On A Public Holiday, Can I Easily Reschedule it? #4119
DanielParticipantHi!
Yes, there is a way to reschedule the event instead of changing the date manually. How? By utilizing the “Event Date Offset” feature of the WooCommerce event tickets plugin, this functionality of the WooCommerce events plugin allows you to set a buffer period before and after the event begins.
This is useful for accommodating setup or wrap-up time for admins, offering early access, or providing a grace period around the official event duration, or preventing customers from booking on a “public holiday”, either by asking your customer to book the event tickets before the events starts or granting them the grace period to book the tickets before the event ends.
