How to Automatically Add a Return Shipping Label for Refunds with RMA Pro?

Hi everyone, I’m using RMA Return Refund & Exchange for WooCommerce Pro, and I’d like to simplify the refund process further. I saw that it supports generating return shipping labels via ShipEngine / ShipStation (in the Integration tab).

My question is: how do I configure automatic return label generation upon refund approval so that customers immediately receive a printable label in their email? I want to reduce manual steps for my support team.

Hey Mary!  I recently set up the automatic return shipping label feature in the RMA Return Refund & Exchange for WooCommerce Pro plugin — it works great once you connect it properly.

Here’s what I did:

1. Go to RMA → Settings → Integrations.
2. Enable and connect your ShipEngine or ShipStation account using the API keys.
3. Under the Shipping Label Settings, toggle the option for “Auto-Generate Return Label on Refund Approval.”
4. Choose your preferred carrier and label format.
5. Save settings — now, whenever a refund request is approved, the customer automatically gets the label attached to the approval email.

It saves tons of time and makes returns super easy for both customers and support staff.
