Mary WilliamsParticipantHello,
I have a WooCommerce store. I would like to give exclusive access to paid members and the membership fee should be charged monthly or yearly depending on customer’s choice. If they chose yearly, I would give some discount. How can I do that? Do I need to use both plugins?
If I must use both of the mentioned plugins, which one should I use to create the plans. I have 2 membership plans right now and I want to show monthly and yearly (with discount) pricing.
Also, since we’re close to the festive season, I was wondering, do WooCommerce plugins usually have any upcoming festive sales or discounts?
Thank you!

ParticipantTo offer exclusive content for paid members with monthly and yearly pricing, you’ll need to use both of these WP Swings plugins together:
Membership for WooCommerce Pro: controls member access, restrictions, and benefits
Subscriptions for WooCommerce Pro: handles recurring billing (monthly/yearly), renewals, and discountsWhy are both required
Membership alone doesn’t manage recurring payments, and Subscriptions alone doesn’t manage member access, but when combined, they create a complete membership system with automatic activation and expiration. How to set it up
- Create a monthly subscription product and link it to your membership plan.
- Create a yearly subscription product (optionally discounted) and link it to the same plan.
- Customers choose whichever billing cycle they prefer.
The plugins will take care of renewals, cancellations, and access control automatically.
WP Swings often offers holiday and seasonal discounts (like Christmas, New Year etc), so it’s worth checking their website or newsletter for current deals.
