I’m using Subscriptions For WooCommerce Pro and want to set up a ‘Build Your Own Bundle’ style box. I need customers to pick 2 items from Category A and 3 items from Category B before checking out. Yes, you can enforce these limits using the Multi-Step Subscription Box feature in Subscriptions For WooCommerce Pro.
The Setup:
- Product Type: Create a product and set it to Subscription Box.
- Enable Multi-Step: In the Subscription Box tab, toggle on Multi-Step Configuration.
- Create Step 1 (Category A): Assign Category A and set both Min and Max Quantity to 2.
Create Step 2 (Category B): Assign Category B and set both Min and Max Quantity to 3.
The plugin automatically validates these limits. If a customer tries to move to the next step without picking the exact amount, a validation alert will pop up (e.g., “Please select 3 items to proceed”), ensuring they cannot checkout until the bundle requirements are met.
