Mark JaquithParticipantI’m writing regarding a compatibility issue between my “WooCommerce Points and Rewards” plugin and the “PixelYourSite” plugin (from PixelYourSite.com).
Problem Description:
After enabling the “WooCommerce Points and Rewards” plugin and PixelYourSite on my WordPress and WooCommerce-based website, I’m encountering a critical error in the checkout process.Error Scenario:
A customer adds products to their cart.
In the cart, the customer uses loyalty points (from the “WooCommerce Points and Rewards” plugin) to apply a discount.
After applying points and attempting to proceed to the checkout page, they receive the error: “There were problems with your cart. Please go to your cart and resolve the issues before submitting your order.” (or a similar error message, such as “No shipping methods available”).
As a result, the transaction cannot be completed.
Impact of the issue:
This conflict prevents customers from making purchases using loyalty points, which negatively impacts conversions. The PixelYourSite plugin is crucial for tracking Facebook Pixel and Conversions API events.
Troubleshooting Steps:
I’ve identified that a conflict occurs when both plugins are active and loyalty points are applied. I’ve also tried modifying various settings in the PixelYourSite plugin (such as AJAX, PHP sessions, and JS compression), but this didn’t resolve the issue.Request for Help:
