› Forums › WooCommerce Plugins › Experiencing an Issue in Our German Website
We are using the “PDF Generator For WP” plugin on our German website. However, we are experiencing an issue where special characters such as “ä”, “ö”, and “ü” are not displayed correctly in the generated PDFs. Instead of the correct characters, we see incorrect symbols, such as “ä” being rendered as “ä”.
With version 1.3.1 of the plugin there was no faulty behaviour.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance,
Klaus
Hello Klaus,
Thank you for reaching out.
It appears that the issue with special characters not displaying correctly in the generated PDFs is due to an encoding problem. The characters “ä”, “ö”, and “ü” are being rendered incorrectly, which typically happens when the character encoding is not set to UTF-8.
Our support team is ready to assist you with this issue. They can provide you with an updated version of the plugin that resolves this problem. Unfortunately, we are unable to share the updated plugin directly here due to security and privacy policies.
However, once you’re connected with our support team, they will guide you through the process of obtaining and installing the updated version.
Please feel free to reach out to the support team, and they will ensure this gets resolved for you.
Best regards,
Sam
