How can I implement the Partial COD on my WooCommerce store so as to charge some amount as a partial payment for the customers in order to prevent fake COD orders? And can I facilitate my customer to pay the partial payment using coupons?
Suggest me any solution which I can easily implement in my store.
Hi,
Having the functionality of Partial payment will greatly help the merchants to restrict the creation of fake orders which are often caused by cash on delivery. And having a partial cod order will let the user pay some amount as a partial payment then only the customers can place the order hence preventing fraudulent orders.
Partial COD for WooCommerce is a plugin that helps the merchant to implement partial COD Options for the customers along with features that include Setting Maximum and Minimum Amounts for Partial Payment, Allowing Partial Payment Using Coupons, Setting User Roles for COD Orders, Tax-Wise Partial Payment Method, Shipping-Wise Partial Payment and support popular payment gateways like Razorpay, PayPal, PayU, and Paytm.
And you can also watch the video on Partial COD For WooCommerce for an easy understanding of installation and setup.
How will I know the remaining amount customer has to pay after order placement?
Hii, you will receive an email when your customer will place an order. This email will provide all the information such as the total amount of the order, the partial amount that your customer has paid you, and the remaining amount that your customer has to pay.
