To integrate GPay into your WooCommerce site, you will need to follow these steps:
- Install the Google Pay Payments API plugin on your WooCommerce site. You can find this plugin in the WordPress repository or download it from the Google Pay Developer site.
- Once the plugin is installed, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments in your WordPress dashboard.
- Enable the Google Pay payment method and click on the manage button next to it.
- Enter your Google Merchant ID and Google Merchant Key in the fields provided.
- Configure the payment settings according to your preferences, such as the payment button text and description.
- Save the changes and test the integration by making a purchase on your site using Google Pay.
Note: Before you can integrate GPay, you must sign up for a Google Merchant account, which requires you to meet specific eligibility requirements.
Once you have been approved for a Google Merchant account, you can obtain your Merchant ID and Key, which are necessary for integrating GPay.
The steps for installing WooCommerce on both seamless and non-seamless platforms are as follows:
1. To begin, install WooCommerce.
2. Visit ‘Plugins and select the Add New’ to add the UPI payment gateway.
3. Look for and install “UPI QR Code Payment Gateway.”
4. Alternatively, you may manually transfer the upi-qr-code-payment-for-WooCommerce directory to your website’s /wp-content/plugins directory.
5. From your Plugins page, activate the UPI QR Code Payment Gateway.
